Since it was raining so hard we ducked into J Doughnuts, which is like a Dunkin Doughnuts and had a break while we waited it out. My feet were soaked all day. We went to the market and ran a couple errands. I picked out fabric for my first Myanmar outfit. I fell in love with it so I had to buy it then and there. Matt approved.
Courtney is modeling the fabric for me. |
Here he is at the shop where he bought it. Pictures to come with him modeling a Myanmar Man Skirt! |
We stopped by some other shops and learned about jewelry and jade. (Really wish our friend Jessica was here to give us her expert advice.) :D Then I went to visit someone with Courtney. In the evening learned how to play a game our new friends from New Zealand brought here and then we reconvened at our house later to play some party games with some more friends.
Sunday we had meeting, prior to which I made omelets and Matt got to have breakfast in bed for the first time in I don't know how long. Unless you count the toast I made him in Thailand. We walked in the rain and got SOAKED after meeting while we were on our way to the missionary home with our friends that were staying there until the end of their assignment here. My shoes dyed my feet and so that took FOREVER to wash off. That is all for now, time to get back to work! Talk to you soon!
